About Us

With support from the Wealdstone FC Foundation and Head In The Game we are pleased to announce the formation of Heads Up!

Starting on Wednesday 1st October 2025 and meeting every Wednesday at Ruislip Social Club between 1900 and 2000, Heads Up! Is a group to   allow men from the community over the age of 18 to meet and talk through their struggles. Be it them suffering from mental health issues or supporting someone who is, the aim of the group is to give men the space to talk and  support each other without judgement.

Suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 50, with 75% of suicides  being men. By creating this peer lead support group we hope to encourage men to break the stigma related to mental heath and talk through their issues rather than bottle them up.

Meetings will be informal and will use the facilities available to us in the Social club such as pool, darts and the open space outside to create a safe, friendly, relaxed environment where men can openly talk and support each other.

Our Mission at Heads Up!

Heads Up! is a passionate initiative aimed at allowing men over 18 years old to come together in a safe space.
We understand that talking about mental health can be challenging, and our goal is to help men express their struggles and support each other.
Together, we can break the stigma surrounding men's mental health.
